We knew that we were in for a treat visiting the old city of Nördlingen, but to have such an incredible place to come back to after a day of adventure was fantastic. The location is perfect: although you are in the city, it is a quiet and peaceful location, with a park just outside the city wall a short walk away. The hosts have thought out every detail when they renovated this location, and to a very high standard at that. We absolutely loved the kitchen, and most of all, the large, luxurious bed they provided. Overall, we had an incredible time at this location, and cannot wait to return again."

  • "We have stayed in a number of properties in a number of countries and this was unquestionably one of our best experiences. First, the unit was perfect. Very comfortable...plenty of space...even storage space to unpack (we were there almost three weeks so appreciated this). The setting is lovely, and very conveniently located. Excellent restaurants and shopping were a short walk away. Also, we like to be active and often ran the path around the city or swam in the community pool complex. A bike rental shop was less than a block away. I think most guests have a car when staying, but we did not and had no trouble. The trains and buses in and out of Nordlngen were easy to navigate. As a base to explore and enjoy Germany's Romantic Road, I can't image a better location. Finally, our hosts were extraordinary. Staying as long as we did, stuff came up...and they were always immediately responsive..."

  • "Most beautiful Holiday Rental, which I have been allowed to visit so far, with which no wishes remain open. The Holiday Rental is beautiful, stylish and furnished with so much attention to detail that you can only feel comfortable in it! At the same time, the Holiday Rental is completed to a very high standard and an extremely modern equipment :) where the charm of the (half-timbered) house in the middle of the old town of Nördlingen has been preserved (keyword: preserved beams). The location is very central and also has a beautiful park just around the corner, as well as almost direct access to the city wall. A carefully designed folder with tips for what to do in the city and the surrounding area round off the perfect picture in my eyes! As a former Nördlinger visiting my old home, I felt very comfortable and would always prefer the Holiday Rental of Andreas and Kendyl to a hotel and in any case book again :)."
